What are the common surface grades of stainless steel coils

Cold rolling → annealing and pickling → mild flattening of the finishing roll, presenting a matte silver gray color with a delicate and non reflective feel.
Advantages: Good flexibility, easy bending and stamping, convenient welding, high cost-effectiveness; Subsequent wire drawing, polishing, and color plating processing are possible.
Applicable: Tank body, equipment shell, metal stamping, ordinary decoration, pipeline, guardrail substrate.
2. BA bright annealed surface
Vacuum bright annealing, no acid washed oxide layer, soft mirror like gloss on the surface, with a gloss much higher than 2B.
Advantages: It is bright and clean, and can be brightened with a slight wipe. Its corrosion resistance is better than 2B.
Applicable: Home appliance panels, kitchenware liners, precision instrument casings, and components that require light brightness.
3.8K mirror surface (finely ground mirror surface)
Multi pass grinding and polishing wax polishing on 2B/BA substrate, achieving a high reflective mirror effect. Subdivided into regular 8K, precision 8K, and super mirror.Applicable: elevator car panels, decorative curtain walls, reflective devices, decorative shapes.
4. Drawing surface (HL filament/NO.4 short filament)
NO.4 Short brushed: Short textured snow silk thread, standard for kitchenware and equipment panels;
HL long drawing: continuous and slender texture, commonly used in architectural decoration, handrails, and metal doors;
The surface has uniform hair patterns, and the anti fingerprint effect is better than that of a mirror, with a good texture.
5. Matte/Snowflake Sand
No obvious long lines, uniform hazy matte finish, resistant to fingerprints and scratches, commonly used in kitchens, bathrooms, and elevators.
2、 Hot rolled stainless steel coil foundation surface
1. Black leather surface
After high-temperature hot rolling, it has black oxide skin, rough and thick, and must be pickled and polished for secondary processing.
Special for thick materials with a thickness of 2mm or more, used as base materials for thick walled equipment, steel structures, and large forgings.
2. Pickled and hot-rolled surface (1D)
After acid washing to remove oxide skin, the matte rough surface is smooth without black skin, and the regular finished surface of thick plates can be polished.
3、 Customized surface with special craftsmanship
1. Surface of embossed pattern
Diamond shaped, orange peel, pearl patterned, and grain patterned stainless steel coils, with anti slip, wear-resistant, and strong three-dimensional feel; Anti slip pedals, elevator anti slip plates, equipment operation consoles.
2. Colored surface (color steel stainless steel)
Vacuum coating titanium on 8K/brushed substrates: black titanium, antique copper, champagne gold, rose gold, bronze color, for hotel and villa decoration.
3. Non fingerprint oil resistant surface
Add a layer of anti fingerprint nano coating on top of the mirror/brushed surface, leaving no fingerprints when touched, easy to clean and maintain, and standard for decoration projects.
4. Etch the surface
Chemical etching of deep and shallow patterns, text, signs, artistic decorations, door panels.
